Binary Star’s, comprised of two ex-convicts, One Be Lo and Senim Silla, song “Honest Expression” is a refreshing, exposing song about the credibility of commercial rappers and their hardcore attitude. From the line, “Yo, I ain't hardcore, I don't pack a nine millimeter; Most a y'all gangsta rappers ain't hardcore neither; Whoever get mad, then I'm talkin' 'bout you; Claim you fear no man, but never walk without crew” to the line “This is dedicated to you hip-hop hypocrites; Droppin' whack songs, like you don't give a shit; I ain't got nothin' against nobody trying to make a decent living; It ain't the money that's the issue; Only if that's the reason why these cats ain't makin' decent music; That's when I got beef wit' you”, Binary Star exposes the hypocrisy behind many of current day’s rappers.
